Started In 2010, from a shopping street in Kazuno City of Akita Prefecture. Cultivated in its own farm with wild grape hybrid varieties that are rooted in the volcanic ash soil from the eruption of Lake Towada. Since most of the wines are handmade without the use of barrels, the production amount is small, and you can enjoy the original aroma and taste of the grapes. It’s being served on JR East's cruise train "Transuit Shiki-shima” since 2017.

Sun Mamoru Winery has been cultivating grapes in Aomori Prefecture for over 20 years and brews wine using grapes and apples from Aomori Prefecture. They have the first factory in Mutsu City and the second factory in Owani Town which products are ship all over the country. There are rich in variety and has about 50 types of wine available. In addition to wine, they also sell hotel-made curry and bread.
