The brewery is located in the central of Akita city in Akita old town which is within walking distance from the Akita station. It was renovated from an old Sake brewery which operated between 1860 to 1944. Raw materials are sourced from all over the world which created varies styles of beer from German styles, such as pilsners to American IPAs pursuing styles that is not bound by single category.

It has been 24 years since the storehouse was built in Anna Garden, which spreads out on the hills in outskirts of Fukushima City. It is a family-owned craft beer brewery which focuses from German style recipes to using local ingredients from the area, such as fruits, rice and sake yeast. Their beer is based on slow ageing and its deliciousness are also contributed by the natural snow water of the Azuma mountain rage.
