Ehime Mikan Variety

IYOKAN

Iyokan, a citrus variety celebrated for its unique attributes, stands out with a refreshing juiciness and mild sweetness. Cultivated in Ehime Prefecture, the name 'Iyokan' signifies its origin ('Iyo' refers to the former name of the prefecture). Known for its easy-to-peel skin and large size, Iyokan provides a delightful citrus experience. The careful cultivation practices in Ehime ensure the optimal balance of flavors, making Iyokan a prized variety in the region.

KANPEI

Kanpei is a citrus variety known for its distinctive, crisp texture and robust sweetness. Developed by Ehime Prefecture, the name 'kanpei' reflects its notable sweetness and flat shape ('kan' and 'pei,' respectively). Due to their thin peel, Kanpei fruits are carefully cultivated to prevent cracking during growth, a phenomenon known as fruit cracking.
